Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA)

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) became law in 2005, and is intended to establish a process to develop, implement, achieve and enforce mandatory accessibility standards in Ontario, with the goal of increasing access to goods, services, facilities, accommodation, employment, buildings, structures and premises by January 1, 2025, for individuals with disabilities.
