COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT: SmartSimple Enters New Joint Venture

Posted by Stirling Myles on Sep 18, 2018 2:00:00 PM

For Immediate Release. SmartSimple Software is excited to announce a new joint venture it has entered into with Business Solutions Re-Solved, an industry leading Grants Management, Case Management and Business Intelligence solution provider.

The joint venture will result in the formation of a new corporate entity, Enterprise by SmartSimple which will act as SmartSimple’s professional services arm for all enterprise-level implementations in North America. SmartSimple’s European operation based in Dublin, Ireland, will remain unchanged and will continue to operate in the same capacity as it has been.

The move had been earmarked in the company’s roadmap for a while and the decision to make changes now had been based on Leadership’s assessment that the company was at a stage in its growth that made sense.

“Moving away from professional services was a logical evolutionary next step. As a pure-play Cloud software provider, we’re now able to double our efforts and focus solely on the development of the SmartSimple platform. The hallmark of our platform has always been its rich functionality and unparalleled flexibility. This move frees up our resources to ensure that our industry-leading posture remains the same for years to come”.  - Mike Reid, Co-founder & COO SmartSimple

The new venture will be led by Re-Solved’s founder and CTO, Malcolm Klotz, and will be staffed by existing SmartSimple enterprise implementation staff as well as his own staff of SmartSimple certified implementation specialists.

“We’re extremely excited to be working side by side with a successful, rapidly growing company like SmartSimple. For nearly a decade, we’ve been implementing SmartSimple systems and we’re confident that our experience and expertise should mean the transition will be quick and seamless”. – Malcolm Klotz, founder, and CTO Business Solutions Re-Solved

While a timeline for the final transition still has yet to be confirmed, the new entity will be managing all new North America-based enterprise system implementations before the end of 2018.
